Apple has again built a product that looks nice and feels great in the hand with a familiar user interface, borrowed from the iPod touch and the iPhone, is perfectly suited to the bigger screen. My 1st impressions of the iPad are totally positive, the iPad whizzes along, you can open applications, resize web pages, and zooming in and out of maps almost instantaneously. I´m still waiting to test more, but the first tests are amazing.

Hi, that’s a good question. Right now the iPad’s are not yet available for sale. According to their website you can begin pre-ordering them March 12th, and they will be available in the US on April 3, 2010.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

Personally I think this is a fabulous idea. Our life is being made easier because of devices that are more capable of solving problems and answering questions. Not only I think that apps on your tv will help kids lear instead of sitting in front of the TV rotting their brains out.

Frank, I do hear what you are saying, but personally I am very excited for the device and think Apple is making a great decision. Look at the success of the iPhone. One of my biggest complaints of the iPhone is that it is hard to surf the web compare to a normal laptop, but with this sleek new iPad this will no longer be a problem. Also, unlike a laptop the iPad will have virtually zero boot time so you can get it booted up and look at what you need very quickly.
